Australasian Credential Support Program (ACSP) Overview

The ACSP has been established to support coaches through the credentialing process by providing the opportunity to apply for additional support through the ICFA.

What can I expect?

Up to 2 hours of support by your ACSP mentor coach. They will answer credential specific questions. Provide encouragement by providing a clear path to the credential process using their experience.

Important note: The 2 hours of ACSP support are not included in your required mentor coach hours for your designated credential. This support is to assist you through the process of applying for your credential. It is not mentoring around your coaching skills or coaching business.

There is no cost to you. Your ACSP mentor coach is providing their time free of charge. ACSP mentor coaches are dedicated coaches who want to support you in your professional development by sharing their knowledge, wisdom and experience. Please do not take advantage of this voluntary support by asking for more of their time.

How do I apply?

1. Contact the ACSP coordinator, Tracy Tresidder at acsp@icfaustralasia.com or by phone +61 (0)2 9924 7078 to obtain a "matching form".

2. Send completed form through to ACSP coordinator who will identify 'best match' based on information supplied

3. A suitable support coach will contact you within 1 week of receiving your form

What I am I responsible for?

4. Liaise quickly with your support coach as time is of the essence and “possible” appointment times cannot be held indefinitely

5. You will then set up a time to talk that suits both you and your support coach.

6. You are responsible for keeping to appointments that you agree to, as is your support coach.

7. Commitment - define with your ACSP support coach how best to utilise their expertise.

8. Be clear about what you are looking for AND how to best maximise your time together.

9. Above all, enjoy the process; you are now making a very informed decision about your future as a professional coach.
